John Rylands Seminar on Print and Materiality in the Early Modern World

The John Rylands Library is pleased to be hosting an interdisciplinary seminar series in 2013/14 organised by Jenny Spinks and Sasha Handley. Next week we welcome Dr Dolly MacKinnon (University of Queensland, Brisbane).

Dr Dolly MacKinnon is a Senior Lecturer in Early Modern History at The University of Queensland. Her research background spans both history and music, and her publications focus on analysing the mental, physical and auditory landscapes of past cultures. Her book Earls Colne’s Early Modern Landscapes will be published by Ashgate in June this year.
