Artist Residency reflections – music inspired by the Alan Turing Archive.

Dr Joshua Brown is a composer, of instrumental and vocal music, from Rossendale in East Lancashire ( He was Artist in Residence at the John Rylands Research Institute from 2019/20. He completed his PhD in Composition at the University of Manchester with Professor Philip Grange in 2018, and he is currently Lecturer in Composition at the University of Manchester, and composition tutor at the Junior Royal Northern College of Music.
